Peptides
Livagen
Also called Livagen
Livagen is marketed for liver support and healthy aging, often to people worried about liver tests or the effects of alcohol, medicines or supplements. The practical goal is a healthier liver, but the cited tissue and cell studies do not establish treatment of fatty liver, scarring or drug-related injury in people.

Reported use · unapproved regimen- Dose
- 2–5 mg total daily
- How often
- Daily, subcutaneous
- How long
- 10 consecutive days in that guide
The guide’s Intermediate section explicitly includes this SC amount and duration. It is a publisher’s proposal, not a common-use estimate or validated course; its repeat-cycle advice is untested.

Do not use a liver-support peptide as protection against alcohol or a hepatotoxic drug. Abnormal tests require cause-specific assessment.
Why people consider Livagen
Looking for liver protection and recovery
-
Abnormal liver tests
People may look for support after a concerning blood-test result.
-
Alcohol, medicines or supplements
Others hope to limit the liver effects of these exposures.
Why do people consider Livagen?
The appeal is protecting or restoring liver function. That is especially relevant when a blood test is abnormal, but an abnormal result has many possible causes. A supplement name cannot diagnose the cause or determine whether a liver is recovering.
What do the experiments actually support?
One original experiment studied growth in pieces of rat liver kept in culture. Other work looked at DNA packaging in blood cells from older donors. Neither demonstrates reversal of fatty liver or scarring in treated people.
Why are online amounts inconsistent?
Guides mix capsule products, synthetic vials and sometimes the wrong peptide identity. The visible amount is one named guide’s SC proposal. It is not harmonized with another page’s capsule mass or presented as a proven cycle.
Livagen or Ovagen?
They are different compounds sold for overlapping liver-focused goals. No verified comparison here establishes that one works better or that combining them protects against medication-related liver injury.
Model details: Livagen · relative timing
Compare timing and buildup for this compound. The values are not blood concentrations or a measure of strength.
Shows a relative timing scenario; absolute blood concentrations are not calibrated.
Timing assumptions and sources
Legacy 4.08 h has no measured human timing support in inspected originals.
One 1 mg input peaks at 1 relative unit after a single dose. Other amounts scale proportionally; overlapping doses add when accumulation is on. Different compounds use separate relative scales.
- Timing half-life used
- 4.08 hours
- Absorption half-life assumed
- 1.02 hours
- Reference amount for the relative scale
- 1 mg
- Absorption half-life is assumed to be one quarter of the slower timescale (1.02 h); it is not a measured absorption parameter.
- A single 1-unit input has a peak of 1 relative unit; scaling and repeated-dose addition are mathematical assumptions. This normalization is independent of the example dose.
- Tissue specificity in culture cannot provide systemic exposure or F.
- Do not convert a suggested course length into elimination timing.
- Tissue-specific effects of peptides.

Common questions
Can Livagen protect my liver during a steroid cycle?
No clinical evidence reviewed here establishes that protection. A liver-support label does not neutralize the risk from another drug.
Is Livagen the same as Ovagen?
No. They are different peptides with overlapping marketing, not interchangeable doses or proven equivalents.

Notes on the quick facts
- Main goal
- A general detox promise does not identify what is wrong.
- Compared with Ovagen
- Their names and marketed organ target do not establish equivalence.
- Blood tests
- A changed liver enzyme is not proof that fibrosis or fatty liver resolved.
