CJC-1295 with DAC
Also called CJC-1295 DAC · Drug Affinity Complex
People consider CJC-1295 with DAC for hoped-for improvements in sleep, training recovery and physique with fewer injections than daily no-DAC routines. Its longer-lasting action is real; the trade-off is that earlier doses remain in the body, while reliable enhancement results have not been established.

Published example · product-specific- Dose
- 30 mcg/kg per administration
- How often
- Days 0, 7 and 14
- How long
- Three administrations; 49-day study
Weight-based research dosing, not 30 mcg total. The study measured hormone/exposure responses; 49 days does not mean 49 days of dosing or a maintenance course.
The trial does not validate the supplier’s fixed-dose course or four-week break. Neither is a no-DAC or CJC/ipamorelin regimen. No starting/maintenance plan is inferred.
The practical difference
With DAC or no DAC: routine and duration
Check the form before comparing routines.
| Practical question | With DAC | No DAC / modified GRF |
|---|---|---|
| Reported routine | Weekly in one study group and supplier example | Daily supplier example |
| DAC attachment | Binds to a blood protein | No albumin-binding attachment |
| GH-pulse question | Pulses persisted in the human study | No proven sleep or recovery advantage |
What it is
The appeal of CJC-1295 with DAC is sustained growth-hormone stimulation without the repeated daily injections seen in many no-DAC discussions. Readers describe goals such as better sleep, less difficulty recovering between workouts and a leaner physique. Those are reasons people explore it, not outcomes that can be predicted from the amount injected.
CJC works upstream: it asks the pituitary to release growth hormone rather than supplying GH directly. That distinction does not make it a proven safer substitute for prescribed growth hormone, or establish an anti-aging benefit.
Timing in the body
The DAC attachment binds to albumin, a blood protein, helping the peptide persist. Early healthy-adult studies estimated a half-life of 5.8–8.1 days and observed doses building on one another. A weekly injection therefore arrives while some previous exposure remains; shorter gaps should not be treated as simply more convenient scheduling.
The plotter shows relative timing using the human study’s approximate half-life. It does not calculate a peptide, GH or IGF-1 blood level, sleep score or muscle-gain rate. A long curve is not a reason to ignore symptoms while waiting for it to fall.
What did the human studies answer?
They showed prolonged increases in GH and IGF-1 over short observation periods. One repeated-dose cohort received three weight-based administrations on days 0, 7 and 14. That is materially different from treating an online eight- or twelve-week fixed-dose course as a clinical-trial protocol.
The pulse study found that GH pulses persisted, with higher trough and mean levels. The online term “GH bleed” often refers to this higher background stimulation. It should not be translated into “all pulses disappear,” nor into proof of pituitary damage after a particular number of weeks. Preserved pulses do not establish long-term safety either.
How should reported weekly amounts be compared?
Keep dose and frequency together. For example, 2 mg once weekly and 1 mg twice weekly both total 2 mg for the week; 2 mg twice weekly totals 4 mg. That is arithmetic, not evidence that splitting a weekly amount improves tolerability or gives the same clinical result.
The named supplier’s course is a report of what it publishes, including its suggested break. It does not show that the break resets receptors, or that the stated duration is safe. An exact starting or maintenance schedule should not be invented from a vial size or from the trial’s weight-based amounts.
What about adding ipamorelin or MK-677?
The cited human DAC trials demonstrated hormone effects without requiring either add-on. A reason to consider two GH-related signals is not proof that their combination improves recovery or preserves muscle during weight loss. If a blend contains a shorter-acting ingredient, its schedule cannot simply be copied from this DAC example. Check each ingredient and its amount separately.
Downsides worth weighing against convenience
Injection-site reactions, flushing, headache and cardiovascular symptoms such as transient blood-pressure changes or increased heart rate appear in the clinical evidence reviewed by FDA. Its review also raises concerns associated with stimulating the GH/IGF-1 system, including fluid retention and impaired glucose handling. These are not reliable incidence estimates for an online vial or a long-term stack.
A longer-lasting signal means there is no immediate way to reverse earlier exposure by changing the next planned injection. Swelling, numbness, worsening sleep or palpitations should prompt clinical assessment rather than automatic escalation. A rising scale weight or laboratory marker is not, by itself, evidence of successful muscle gain.

Timing assumptions and sources
30µg/kg cohort half-life5.8d from Teichman figure2;1.25h is midpoint assumption within reported1–1.5h peak window, not measured cohort mean.
One 1 mg input peaks at 1 relative unit after a single dose. Other amounts scale proportionally; overlapping doses add when accumulation is on. Different compounds use separate relative scales.
- Timing half-life used
- 139.2 hours
- Absorption half-life assumed
- 0.1231319 hours
- Reference amount for the relative scale
- 1 mg
- The faster rate is inferred to match the 1.25 h source-scoped peak time; absorption half-life 0.12313185117369821 h is a mathematical shape parameter, not separately measured.
- A single 1-unit input has a peak of 1 relative unit; scaling and repeated-dose addition are mathematical assumptions. This normalization is independent of the example dose.
- No study cohort mean weight recovered, so30µg/kg cannot become2mg or2.1mg without an explicit assumed reference weight.
- AUCt is to last sampling, not infinite; exact last measurable time differs by subject. Do not compare it as if AUCinf.
- DAC albumin-bound analyte assay and formulation are not interchangeable with free no-DAC GRF.
- With139.2h tail and1.25h assumed Tmax, a simple peak-normalized Bateman is unsuitable for reproducing the observed early/late profile.

Common questions
Does CJC-1295 with DAC replace HGH?
It stimulates the body’s GH release, while somatropin supplies GH directly. That difference does not establish equivalent doses, outcomes or a safer enhancement option.
Does DAC stop the body’s GH pulses?
In the cited human study, pulses persisted while trough and mean GH increased. A long peptide half-life is not the same thing as flat GH release.
Is 2 mg twice weekly the same as 2 mg per week?
No. Two 2 mg administrations total 4 mg for the week. Always keep the amount per administration separate from the weekly total.
Do I need ipamorelin for DAC to raise GH?
The human DAC studies observed hormone increases without ipamorelin. Those results do not establish extra sleep, recovery or physique benefits from adding it.
How long until I see muscle or fat changes?
The controlled studies reviewed measured hormone and exposure changes rather than a dependable physique timeline. A supplier’s eight- or twelve-week course is not a demonstrated time to results.

Notes on the quick facts
- Practical appeal
- Weekly patterns appear in the research and in reported use; this does not prove a weekly enhancement regimen.
- Main trade-off
- A roughly week-long half-life means the exposure does not end the day after an injection.
- Dose comparison
- 2 mg twice weekly totals 4 mg/week; 1 mg twice weekly totals 2 mg/week. Equal weekly totals are not proof of equal effects.
